Mariana Suarez is an epidemiology modeller at the Health Economics and Policy Unit (HEPU) and is currently serving in Malawi through the Peace Corps. Before relocating to Malawi, she worked as a Data Science Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, where she collaborated with Fortune 500 companies to implement price optimization, marketing initiatives, and generative AI solutions.
Mariana has a strong research background in healthcare, including her work with Baptist Hospital’s Advanced Analytics Center. Internationally, she has conducted research with malnutrition centers in Brazil and Mexico and served as an analyst at a low-cost clinic. She is also a board member of Puente Desarrollo Internacional, where she helped create visual impact maps to showcase the organization’s work.
She earned her Master’s in Business Analytics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds an undergraduate degree in Science and Computing from the University of Notre Dame.
