A think tank is body of experts providing advice and ideas on specific health economic policy problems. The traditional understanding of thing tank has been paternalistic which has caused a gap between experts and policy makers.

The idea for the Health Economics Policy & Ethics (HEPE) think tank is to move from the paternalistic perspective towards a thinking together kind of a think tank. The HEPPE Think Tank will bridge the gap between researchers and academicians. It is a platform for sharing ideas and setting research agenda
