Profile
Jane Phiri is a public health researcher and health economist with a clinical foundation in nursing and midwifery. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Economics from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery from Kamuzu College of Nursing. Her experience spans health systems research, maternal and reproductive health, and HIV-related studies. Jane’s interests lie in health financing, health policy, and health systems strengthening in low- and middle-income settings, with a focus on integrating economic and clinical perspectives to support evidence-based decision-making, efficiency, and equitable access to quality healthcare.
