Programs

The Department of Health Systems and Policy, in the School of Public Health and Family Medicine, intends to introduce a Master of Science in Global Health Economics and Policy degree. Through the proposed programme, learners will study how health economics principles are used to inform policy and promote health systems development at national and global level. Specifically, drawing from both theory and practice, learners will study how health economics principles can be used to influence behaviours of individuals, communities, providers and institutional levels through the use of economic incentives in order to improve health outcomes.
